These extreme sports are really extremely expensive!

If you feel that you have a lot of money in your pockets and you don’t know how to spend it, why not spend it on these extremely expensive extreme sports?

Because, rather than lazing around doing nothing, you might as well experience these SIX extreme activities that will not only test your courage but also burst your wallet!

But for those who are more modest in their living, well... maybe this list would tempt you to make new goals and start saving for them bit by bit!

*Note: These activities are not suitable for those with heart diseases, high blood pressure, acrophobia,  who can’t swim, below 18 years old, and last but not least, poor! (kidding)

1.Tandem Skydiving (Pattaya, Thailand)

Pattaya’s tandem skydiving is one of the best there is in Asia and it has been operating since 2006.

For those who don’t know, tandem skydiving is a type of skydiving where a student skydiver is connected to a harness attached to an experience tandem instructor. This is much safer for those who have no skydiving experience as the instructor will have them find balance and will guide them along the fall.

Free-fallers will get to see the Gulf of Thailand, beautiful beaches, and of course, Pattaya too!

2.Flyboarding (Putrajaya, Malaysia)

Basically, a Flyboard is a type of water jetpack or hoverboard attached to a personal water craft (PWC) which supplies strong pressure to push the Flyboard through air and water, becoming a sport known as flyboarding.

There is only one place in Malaysia where you can flyboard and it is at Marina Putrajaya. The extreme water sport has been there since 2014.

The sport was first introduced in 2012 and Malaysia is one of the first Asian countries to offer the extreme sport.

3.BASE jumping (KL Tower, Malaysia)

Representing the words Building, Antenna, Span and Earth, BASE jump is known to be one of the most extreme sports in the world, significantly more dangerous than skydiving from a plane due to the lower altitudes of the jump.

In some places, the sport is illegal, and not everyone can participate in it – you have to at least have certain qualifications to join BASE jumping, like having experience in skydiving or other similar sports.

The BASE jumping in KL Tower started back in 1999, and it is one of the highlights of the tower’s calendar as every year, there will be a KL Tower BASE Jump event participated by professionals.

Price: MYR150 without harness (USD36), MYR200 with harness (USD48) (ok, so it's not too crazy expensive, but consider the other experiences you need before being able to participate in this)


4.Bungee jumping (Macau Tower, Macau)

Get on the world’s highest bungee jump at Macau Tower which stretches as high as 338 meters, offering some of the best views of Macau.

The father of contemporary bungee jumping, A J Hackett, has broken the Guinness World Record for the highest commercial bungee jump in the world at the tower, setting a record of 233 meters.

The freefall will take about 4 to 5 seconds and rebound around four times before safely and slowly landing onto a specially designed airbag.

5.Kitesurfing (Bali, Indonesia)

Tame the wild waves at Bali with kite-surfing, a surface water sport combining aspects of wakeboarding, snowboarding, windsurfing, surfing, paragliding, skateboarding and gymnastics into one extreme sport!

The two main spots that are famous for kitesurfing is at Sanur beach and Canggu beach. Out of the two, the more extreme spot is the Canggu beach one as it a huge beach with a lot of waves, so if you seek to conquer the untamed ocean, this is the spot for you!
