English indie pop trio, The xx, are making their second tour in Asia early next year, following their visit to the region back in July which included countries like Singapore, Japan and South Korea.
For their second Asian trip, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Philippines will be included alongside Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan.
“We had so much fun in Japan and Korea this summer, and we can’t wait to bring the ‘I See You Tour’ to Asia early next year! It will be our very first time in Indonesia and Malaysia and we are so looking forward to meeting you all,” the band posted on their Facebook.
Consisting of Romy Madley Croft on vocals and guitar, bassist Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith, DJ and remixer, the ‘I See You Tour’ is in support of the band’s third album of the same name.
The tour will kick off in Jakarta on 23 January 2018 at JIExpo Kamayoran Hall B3, before going to Kuala Lumpur on 25 January at Malaysian International Trade and Exhibition Center (MITEC).
After making stops in Hong Kong and Taipei, the members will head to Manila for a performance at the World Trade Center, and then continued their tour to Osaka and Tokyo.
Ticketing details for the Indonesian leg hasn’t been revealed yet, but the Malaysian ticket prices starts from RM220 via ticketpro.com.my, while the Philippines show price ranges from PHP2250 to PHP5250 via ticketnet.com.ph.
