For the first time ever, Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, a Christmas exhibition and market inspired by J.K. Rowling’s popular books, will be coming to Bangkok this holiday season!
The exhibition – brought to you by Warner Bros Consumer Products (WBCP) and GES – is set to take place from 7 December 2017 until 2 March 2018 at Siam Paragon.
The setting will mimic two of the series’ most popular venues; the Hogsmeade Village and Diagon Alley, featuring shops and decors from the famous franchise such as the Ollivanders wand shop, Honeydukes sweets shop, Madam Puddifoot's tea shop, Eeylops Owl Emporium, and more!
“Christmas in the Wizarding World will redefine the traditional shopping centre holiday offering by creating a themed retail experience inspired by one of the most beloved brands of all time, Harry Potter,” says Eddie Newquist, chief creative officer of GES as quoted by The Nation.
“We’ve recreated the magical settings of Hogsmeade village and will bring it to the fans and families in Thailand, so they can experience this innovative retail environment.”
There is also a Quidditch mini field for an interactive Quaffle Toss game, and a wide selection of “Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” inspired merchandise, including robes, plush owls, wands, jewellery and branded collectibles.
At the end of the day, visitors can take a memorable photo at the photo station, featuring a selection of background options from the famous franchise.
