Events Not To Be Missed: December 2017

Can you guys believe that we’re already at the last month of 2017? Man, time sure flies!

And as expected, December seems to have way more events compared to any other months, and it is most probably because everyone wants to wrap up the year with a bang (and enjoy Christmas while they’re at it too!)

So let’s countdown into the new year with all these events that are scheduled to take place this month!

1.Aly & Fila in Singapore (1 December 2017)

Egyptian trance duo Aly & Fila returns to Singapore once again for another showstopping gig, and this time, they aren’t about to let any politician’s son steal their lime light again!

Venue: Mao Club

2.RIUH in Malaysia (2 – 3 December 2017) 

Enjoy a weekend of creative and retail therapy at an all-new creative platform called RIUH, which is set to be a monthly affair.

Venue: APW, Jalan Riong, Bangsar

3.NickTheReal in Malaysia and Singapore (2 & 3 December 2017) 

NickTheReal is coming to both Malaysia and Singapore for the first time to deliver his “NICKTHEREAL Party Tour” as well as to promote his newest album “REAL”.

Venue: KL Live (MY), Shanghai Dolly (SG)

4.Xmas in the Wizarding World in Thailand (17 December 2017 – 2 March 2018) 

For the first time ever, Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, a Christmas exhibition and market inspired by J.K. Rowling’s popular books, will be coming to Bangkok this holiday season, to give Harry Potter fans a magical experience like they’ve never felt before!

5.Tiffin Food Court Malaysia (8 – 24 December 2017) 

Get ready for an exciting gastronomical affair that will reinvent the Malaysian food court experience as the people behind Urbanscapes (Freeform) brings us Tiffin Food Court, a three-weekend long thematic fiesta, held in collaboration with more than 30 vendors and partners.

6.ZoukOut Singapore (8 – 9 December 2017)  

Catch Amelie Lens, MaRLo, DJ Snake, and the members from Asia’s hottest hip-hop collective 88Rising at ZoukOut 2017!

7.Tiesto in Malaysia  (8 December 2017) 

Future Sounds Asia is bringing Dutch electro house heavyweight Tiësto back in Malaysia for an unforgettable intimate show dubbed “Live Your Music presents Tiësto”!

Venue: KL Live, Kuala Lumpur

8.88Rising in Malaysia (9 December 2017) 

The gang from Asia’s hottest hip hop collective, 88Rising will be bringing some of their biggest hip hop acts from the east to Malaysia for the first time!

Venue: KL Live, Kuala Lumpur

9.Air Supply in Malaysia (9 December 2017)  

Known for songs like “Lost in Love”, “Even The Nights Are Better”, “Here I Am”, and “All Out Love”, Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell of Air Supply are returning to Malaysia to bring you another round of endless love hits from the 80s.

Venue: Genting Highlands

10.Shawn Mendes in Singapore and  Thailand (9 & 11 December 2017)  

In support of his sophomore album “Illuminate”, the “Treat You Better” singer will be making his debut in both Singapore and Bangkok as part of his third concert tour.

Venue: The Star Arena (SG), Impact Arena (TH)

11.marshmello in Malaysia (10 December 2017)  

The White Party (TWP), Kuala Lumpur’s annual themed event returns to paint the town white again with the whitest DJ (not that kind of white) you’ve ever known – DJ Marshmello.

Venue: KL Live, Kuala Lumpur

12.Culture Club in Singapore (11 December 2017) 

One of the most representative and influential bands of the 80s, Culture Club, will be performing in Singapore for the very first time with the original line-up.

Venue: The Star Theatre

13.Stayin’ Alive in Malaysia  (12 – 14 December 2017) 

Award-winning tribute band Stayin Alive from UK, will present you all of your favourite Bee Gee’s hits including “To Love Somebody”, “Massachusetts”, “Words”, “Run to Me”, “My World”, “Jive Talkin”, “You Should be Dancing”, and more.

14.Djakarta Warehouse Project Indonesia (15 – 16 December 2017)  

Back for its ninth run, Indonesia’s annual electronic music festival Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) returns with EDM moguls Flume, Dvbbs, Galantis, Marshmello, NWYR, R3hab, and Tiesto as the main line-up.

15.Armin van Buuren in Malaysia (15 December 2017)  

Trance legend Armin van Buuren is coming to Malaysia to set fire to the dance floor with his uplifting and progressive beats!

16.Academy Pastry Festival Malaysia (16 December 2017)  

For those who are huge fans of pastries, get ready to enter the land of everything sweet at Malaysia’s first Academy Pastry Festival, featuring world class pastries like chocolates, cookies, French pastries, travel cakes, viennoiseries, bread, savoury items and more.

17.Hatsune Miku in Malaysia (16 December 2017)  

Everyone’s favourite virtual diva and one of the top artistes in Japan, is coming to Malaysia for the first time for a unique concert experience unlike any other.

18.An Honest Christmas Party Malaysia (17 December 2017)  

This December, come and join the most honest Christmas party in town as pop punk group An Honest Mistake (AHM) is roping in some of the freshest and coolest acts from the local scene!

19.One Piece Run in Thailand (17 December 2017) 

Dress up as the beloved Straw Hat Pirates and join the rest of the One Piece characters and get ready for an exciting race to be the next Pirate King at the first ever One Piece Run in Thailand.

Venue: Wannava Water Park Hua Hin

20.A Place to Bury Strangers in Asia (19, 20, 21, 22 December 2017)  

American noise rock band A Place to Bury Strangers has announced an extensive tour in Asia which will includes dates in Singapore, Manila, Jakarta, and Kuala Lumpur.

21.Priscilla Abby in Malaysia (23 December 2017)  

Social media star-turned-singer Priscilla Abby will be holding her first ever mini-concert in conjunction with the releases of her upcoming songs.
