As you've probably heard by now, another one of Rock's icons has gone too soon.
Dolores O'Riordan, the lead singer of the multi-platinum band, The Cranberries, which gave us popular hits like "Zombie", "Animal Instinct", "Linger" and more, was found dead in her hotel room in London today.
She was 46-years-old.
The Ireland hailing band which had great international success in the 90s, was in London for a short recording session.
Her band members shared a short message on their Twitter account to confirm her passing.
We are devastated on the passing of our friend Dolores. She was an extraordinary talent and we feel very privileged to have been part of her life from 1989 when we started the Cranberries. The world has lost a true artist today.— The Cranberries (@The_Cranberries) 15 January 2018

O'Riordan had joined The Cranberries in her teens after spotting an ad for a female rock singer back in 1989.
She then pursued a solo career after the band went on hiatus in 2003, but they soon reunited in 2009 and toured the world.
The Cranberries can be most recently heard on the new Eminem album, "Revival" (15 December), where the song "In Your Head", uses samples of band's hit, "Zombie".
Here's remembering Dolores through the band's top 5 songs following the all-time favourite, "Zombie":
