Indie rock prodigy, Jake Bugg, to play in Southeast Asia

5 Mar – English musician and singer songwriter, Jake Bugg, is coming to Singapore and Thailand on 28 April and 1 May this year.

England’s wunderkind of a musician will be having a solo acoustic performance in certain parts of Southeast Asia in support of his fourth album, “Hearts That Strain” which was released last November.

His concert at Singapore will be held at *SCAPE’s The Ground Theatre on 28 April.

Prices for the tickets are yet to be announced, but they will be going for sale starting from 6 March, 10am onwards. Presales will start from 5 March for members of Live Nation from 10am to 11.55am.

Whereas, the Thailand performance will be held on 1 May at Bangkok’s Scala Cinema, a smaller and more intimate venue where he wishes to highlight his individual talents without being accompanied by a band.

Tickets are available online from 17 March at the price of THB2,600 while pre-sale tickets for members of Live Nation will be open from 15 to 16 March at the same price.

There have been no updates on whether there will be any other performances announced for Asia.

It was a long time coming for Jake Bugg around these parts, starting his career at the young age of 17 and slowly making a name for himself. It was only a year later when Bugg released his first self-titled album, “Jake Bugg”, garnering him international acclaim.
