Always wish to travel to every corner of the world just to try out the local special cuisine but unable to do so due to monetary and time constrains? Well, the newly-launched menu from SOULed OUT will be joyous news to foodies that answered with a resounding “Yes!” to that question.

Adding on to their array of comfort food (as their motto says, “As good as a hug”), the restaurant has rolled out more than 30 new food and drink options to fully satisfy their customers’ palate.

“The new menu is about inclusion and embracing diverse cuisines from around the world. We want to cater to a wider range of taste profiles, so no matter what you are in the mood for, you can get it at SOULed OUT,” said Cassie Wong, Head of Marketing for the SOULed OUT group.

With the “around the world” theme, the new additions come from places as close by as Thailand and Indonesia to as far as Italy and London. Choices vary thanks to the inclusion of both east and west cuisines.

The spiciness level of Bhuna Chawal is not for the fainthearted.
Those who lean more towards Asian dishes will be happy with new offerings such as Thailand’s Sawadee Salad (which proved to be quite a hit at yesterday’s food tasting session during the launch of the new menu), Japan’s Kake Udon (the tempura prawn is definitely not just a decoration atop the pile of thick strands of noodle) and India’s Bhuna Chawal (foodies with love for anything spicy would find this delectable), while those who feel like dining on western food will have Beef Ragout or Lamb Pie as their picks, among others.

Those who want just something to nibble on can go for Patatas Bravas, cuts of potato that are crispy on the outside but maintain their fluffiness on the inside, best eaten with the mayo dip served alongside it.

It is said that Jager de Gin is even better than a martini that’s shaken, not stirred.
Of course, no meal is complete without a nice drink to top it off. There are both alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices available. Some of the interesting concoctions are the Jackfruit Mojito, Guinness Chocolate Milkshake, Jager de Gin and Mango Lychee Coconut Shake (non-alcoholic).

First launch at SOULed OUT Kuala Lumpur in Hartamas, the new menu will be introduced in stages to other outlets over the next few months.
