We all know that Comic Cons are the must-go event for all comic fans everywhere.
Since the mecca of all comic conventions is all the way in San Diego, the good comic-loving people of Malaysia have decided to host our very own version right here in the heart of Klang Valley!
Asia Comic Con (ACC) 2018 opened its doors today and will run all this weekend up to Sunday, 15 July at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre.
Among the highlights of the pop culture event of the year is the Moh Skor E-Sports Tournament by My Game On featuring FIFA Online 3, FIFA18 and Mobile Legends, where a prize pool of RM50,000 is up for grabs!
Obviously the other main highlights of a comic convention will be the cosplayers themselves as well as the amazing displays from ones' favourite animes and comics such as the; life-sized Magneto Chair from "X-Men", Batman's Tumbler and Batpod, as well as original artwork and props from the animated film, "9 Satra: The Legend of Muay Thai"; all for you to feast your eyes on at the event.
Those looking to view some intricate display pieces can also look out for XM Studio's prototype statues from the Marvel films such as "Avengers", "X-Men" and "Ant Man", or DC's "Batman" too.
Collectors will be able to purchase tons of figurines from Funko Pop as well as those from Bandai, Pokemon Plush, Hot Wheels, Transformers and more!
Among the celebrity appearances expected for the event is ani-song artist NoB ("Super Sentai" and "Saint Seya") and mao (Doraemon).
Girl idol groups Siam Dream and Sweat16 will also be performing. Also don't miss the stage shows by Higashi Kitty Band, Miracle Beats and violinist Luna Lorrain.
Tickets are priced at RM50 for a 3-day pass or RM30 for a single day pass.
