MyBalloonFiesta, otherwise known as the Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, returns to its namesake city to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

The 10th edition of the hot air balloon festival was supposed to be held last year but it was postponed to this year so as to allow the organisers to come up with a bigger and better fiesta for all.

Here’s when and where you can catch the hot air balloon fiesta this year:
Date: 28 – 31 March 2019 (Thursday – Sunday)
Venue: Precinct 2, Putrajaya

Admission to the event is free of charge.

See the beautiful balloons colour the skies of Putrajaya.
Want a more grounded yet still in the air experience? Go for the tethered balloon rides.
Expect to see 20 hot air balloons of various shapes and colours from all over the world including Belgium, India, United Kingdom, Spain, Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand.

Other activities at the festival include tethered balloon rides (via the MyBalloonClub package), balloon viewing at the Picnic Zone, a balloon igloo showcase made of recycled hot air balloons, an F&B park, corporate area for partners’ product exhibitions and the Night Glow event, which makes its comeback with a big surprise this year.

Those with more competitive spirits will be happy to know that the Hare and Hound competition, otherwise known as the Rudy’s Trophy – named after the founder of the hot air balloon festival, will also be held. It gives the pilots a chance to showcase their flying skills as they compete with each other high up in the skies of Putrajaya.

More event activities will be updated on the official website www.myballoonfiesta.com.
