Loudness’ third concert in Malaysia is just around the corner but rock fans wouldn’t have just this J-rock legend to look forward to, as it has been revealed that there will be two local bands performing as the opening acts this weekend.

First up is the rockin’ quintet, Farasu (pictured above), who’s represented the Malaysian metal scene in places like Singapore, China, Indonesia and Taiwan. They are known for their unique mix of Eastern trash death and black metal, infused with traditional Malay music.

Starting out as a trio in 2012 in Serdang, Selangor, Farasu has undergone several member changes over the years but they continue to find success with their music that evolves with the time. The band’s album that was released last year, “Sulalatus Salatin”, is their most successful to date.

Jemson will also be opening for Loudness.
The second opening act is KL duo, Jemson, made up of Najmi (previously a member of the now disbanded brutal metal band, Incarnation) and Myo (also the frontman of Oh Chentaku). The name is a playful spin on Najmi’s previous solo project called The Jameson Project, during which he collaborated on a track with Myo and eventually the two paired up and formed their own supergroup.

Their latest album, “Balada Cinta Kosmos”, which was released under Oh Chentaku Records, contains five tracks with classic vibes that are reminiscent of the ‘80s but with a touch of modern pop and punk elements.

To catch all these rockers in one place, head on down to the Bee, Publika this 10 November (Sunday).

Tickets, priced at RM208 (advance) and RM288 (VIP - inclusive of 2 Drink Coupons (claimable at VIP bar for Soft Drinks, Coffee, Beer, Wine), Priority VIP Entry and VIP Area.), are available online via https://www.galactix.asia/loudnessKL.

Tickets are also available at the door for RM238.
