Malaysian celebrity couple Fattah Amin and Fazura have recently released a new song for Hari Raya Aidilfitri and along with it, a music video featuring animated versions of themselves!

As if that wasn’t enough, the cute factor was raised further with the special appearance of Fazura’s baby bump, which the singer introduced in her Instagram post as “#OurPreciousBaby”.

Since Raya is about being with family, the husband and wife duo also included animated versions of several of their relatives. Fazura, sharing a snippet of it, happily stated that this was her and Fattah’s first time appearing in an animated music video.

The song, called “Seloka Hari Raya”, is an updated version of the 1977 song of the same name sung by Uji Rashid and Hail Amir.

Fazura stated that she and Fattah hope the song, their gift to fans this Raya, will make everyone’s celebration of it this year more meaningful.

Raya, usually one of the most festive holidays in Malaysia, will be comparatively muted this year compared to previous years as the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) is still in effect in the country, allowing friends and family who live nearby each other to celebrate it in small gatherings only on the first day.

Enforced in an effort to curb the global COVID-19 pandemic, CMCO is expected to be lifted this 9 June.

In the meantime, don’t feel down Malaysians, click play on the music video below and let cartoon Fattah and Fazura (and baby bump) cheer you up with their “Seloka Hari Raya”!
