The stars of “Wira” and “Paskal the Movie” are taking a break from their action-packed roles to lead a light-heart romantic comedy next.
“Malay rom-com is a new challenge to me. However, to work with the cast that I am familiar with from my previous works is an advantage for me to crack this genre,” said Teh in a press statement.
The director added that the month-long filming process was done entirely at Desaru Coast, Johor, and was completed just 48 hours before the Malaysian government implemented the Movement Control Order (MCO).

A collaboration between ACT 2 Pictures Sdn. Bhd., SNJ Holdings Sdn. Bhd., Hello Billionaires Sdn. Bhd., and Clover Films Sdn. Bhd., the movie is currently in post-production, though no release date has been confirmed.
“Pasal Kau” stars Hairul Azreen and Janna Nick as the main characters Aiman and Jane, respectively. Both work at the same luxury hotel but the happy-go-lucky boy is oblivious of Jane’s crush on him. After almost losing her in a kidnaping incident that occurred at the hotel, he finally realises his own feelings towards her.
Also part of the cast are Namron, Amerul Affendi, Henley Hii, Hafizul Kamal, Taufiq Hanafi, Theebaan G, Josiah Hogan and other experienced actors as well as fresh faces.
While waiting for “Pasal Kau” to be released, fans can enjoy re-watching the cast in “Paskal the Movie” and “Wira”, which are both available for streaming now on Netflix.
