Since South Korean entertainment agency and record label Big Hit Entertainment announced that popular K-pop group BTS will be returning to the big screen with their latest film, "Break The Silence: The Movie", their fans (ARMY) all across the globe have been restlessly anticipating it!

The documentary film will feature the idol group’s "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself" world tour that was held from May to October 2019, plus several behind-the-scenes clips from the concert and exclusive interview with all seven BTS members, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook and V, about their personal stories and memories throughout the tour.

The film is an adaptation of the seven-episode documentary series “Break the Silence”, with a duration of roughly 30 minutes per episode. The series was released on the Korean app and website, Weverse.

Cures your longing for the Bangtan boys this year

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the various industries across the globe, including the entertainment industry, causing activities such as concerts, filming, film or song releases and many more to be postponed, or worse, cancelled.

The same goes for BTS’ "Map of the Soul" world tour that had to be cancelled. Not wanting to disappoint fans, BTS held an online concert Bang Bang Con The Live on 14 June, watched by fans from all over the world. Apart from that, BTS also made a comeback with their new song “Dynamite”, sung fully in English, and will be releasing a new album this October!

In a way, this movie is one of the biggest gifts to fans who have missed seeing the seven good-looking idols performing on stage. In fact, the third BTS documentary film, "Bring the Soul: The Movie", is also re-released in certain cinemas from this 28 to 30 August.

Follow the personal stories of BTS

Starting off as a hip-hop group in 2013, their music genre has diversified and evolved throughout the years. Their journey as idols is often documented whether in films or documentary series, made especially for fans. Last June, BTS celebrated their group’s seventh anniversary. Their friendship proves to be strong and undivided.

As seen in the movie’s 30-second trailer, Jimin said that time spent with the members is the most treasured moment in his life. Just watching this is enough to tug at your heartstrings, especially accompanied by the clip of a stadium packed full of cheering ARMY. All of you must be anticipating what personal stories will each BTS member share. Don’t forget to prepare a packet of tissue or two before heading into the cinema halls!

Experience watching a BTS movie on the big screen

Not all fans have had the chance to go to a BTS concert. Maybe you’re a new ARMY and have never watched any BTS movie in cinemas before.

The "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself" concert sees BTS travelling all over the world to places such as Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Sao Paulo, London, Paris, Osaka, Shizuoka, Riyadh and Seoul. They also made history as the first K-pop group to perform at the Wembley Stadium in London.

If previously you’ve only watched BTS on your computer or TV screen, this is your chance to experience watching a BTS concert on the big screen! It will definitely be an extraordinary experience and make you anticipate more BTS films to be released in cinemas.

Get to know other ARMY and make some new friends

We heard that most of the fans planning to watch the movie will be going alone, so why not make some new friends while at the cinema? Maybe some of you have just joined the BTS fandom that is pretty much one big family. You can shout out the fan chants and sing along together while watching the movie in cinemas later. But still, don’t forget to practice social distancing!
