The 52 year-old singer, who was asked about her thoughts about the loss, stated that she last saw Naim about ten days ago when they were celebrating her finishing fourth in the singing competition, "Gegar Vaganza 7".
"He greeted me and my husband, but didn't talk as much that day," she said.
As for the loss, Noraniza stated that she did feel some grief and regret, saying, "It wasn't like he didn't know how to swim. But of course, even from the video we can see how big was the velocity of the water. Maybe it was his time. Life and death is all in God's hands.”
The singer added that Naim had also invited her and her family to his upcoming wedding. "He said he wanted to have a traditional theme like I did for my son Aliff two years ago. It would not come true now," she said.
Naim's body was found at around 10 in the morning by the Search and Rescue Team on Sunday, three days after he was swept away by a massive wave, a day before he was to tie the knot with his fiancée.
