After the success of his two Netflix's series, "The Haunting of Hill House" and "The Haunting of Bly Manor", horror filmmaker Mike Flanagan recently revealed that he is set to begin production on his new project, "The Midnight Club" soon.
In a series of Twitter posts on 3 February, Flanagan shared a photo of a collection of names - Adia, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, William Chris Sumpter, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Shephard and Sauriyan Sapkota that made up of Pike's Midnight Club; a group of terminally ill teenagers who meet every night to tell each other scary stories - which was the basis of Pike’s novel that was first released in 1994 under the same title.

He wrote, "I've been dreaming of this project since I was a teenager, and I cannot wait to embark on yet another adventure with my [Intrepid] partner in crime (and television) Trevor Macy, as well as the fantastic crew we've been cultivating. More to come as we get closer to shooting."
He also announced the cast of the upcoming show, including Zach Gilford ("Friday Night Lights"), Matt Biedel ("Narcos: Mexico"), as well as Samantha Sloyan, whom he previously worked with on "The Haunting of Hill House".
Joining the cast is Heather Langenkamp, who is most known as Nancy Thompson from the 1980s horror franchise, "A Nightmare on Elm Street".
Flanagan wrote, "To horror fans like myself, Heather is royalty, and I am so excited to work with her."
Aside from "The Midnight Club", Flanagan has also just recently finished another Netflix series, "Midnight Mass", about an isolated island town that begins to experience strange occurrences after the arrival of a mysterious preacher.
