Demi Lovato has recently admitted for the first time that her nearly fatal overdose in July 2018 had her experiencing several complications while she was hospitalised.

The singer, who opened up about the said incident in the upcoming documentary, "Dancing with the Devil", recently shared a trailer of the said programme on Instagram, that featured several clips of the interview including one where Lovato revealed, "I had three strokes, I had a heart attack."

In the same documentary, it was also revealed that the “Sonny with a Chance” star experienced temporary blindness, and that she was told by the doctors that she was less than ten minutes away from death.

Lovato posted on Instagram, "I've been holding #DemiDWTD incredibly close to my heart, and now it's time to share an inside look. This is only a short preview of what is to come."
