Singapore’s premier music and arts festival, Neon Lights has finally unveiled 17 more amazing music acts who will be joining the previously announced headlinersSigur Ros and Foals for the festival’s 2016 line-up!
The acts that will be joining the second edition of Neon Lights include Canadian indie-electro duo Crystal Castles, Swedish alt-folk hero Jose Gonzalez and the original Godfather of Funk himself, Detroit’s George Clinton.
“We feel we are upping the ante with the range and quality of music acts in this year’s festival, with a strong mix of international acts alongside the best new stars from the Singaporean indie scene. We’ll be announcing a few more music acts, plus the array of entertainment in our arts areas in September,” said Neon Lights’ festival director Declan Forde.
Other international acts confirmed for the two-day festival are; Canadian neo-funk star Neon Indian, English folk-songstress Lucy Rose, English electronic producer Gold Panda, Canadian jazz and hip hop fusion Badbadnotgood, English instrumental math rock band 65daysofstatic, and newbie band from London, Pumarosa.
Meanwhile, the homegrown local performers who will be showcasing their talents as well includes acoustic superstar Gentle Bones, singer-songwriter Linying, electronic dance rock quartet Cashew Chemists, as well as another electronic funky pop quartet, Disco Hue.
Neon Lights will take place at Fort Canning Park, Singapore on 26 and 27 November 2016.
