Thailand’s beautiful Koh Samui Island will soon turn into a location for a new music, arts and culture festival dubbed as Paradise Island.
The two-day festival will be the first festival of its kind featuring some of the best international and Thai artistes alongside a program showcasing the very best that Thai culture has to offer.
Presented by Soundcrash, a UK-based company who have been delivering world class events across UK and Europe for the past 10 years, Paradise Island festival will be the company’s first venture into the Asian market.
Taking place on 7 and 8 January 2017 at Big Buddha Beach, the inaugural festival will focus on feel-good music like soul, funk, hip-hop, jazz, reggae, ska, world music and the best funky, uplifting DJs.
Some of the confirmed music acts for the festival include LTJ Bukem, De La Soul, Goldie, Maribou State, Anchorsong and Mad Professor.
Visitors can also expect some of the exceptional arts programme which include Thai performance art, traditional art, yoga classes, Thai massage, Thai cooking, workshops and more.
Early bird tickets costs USD63 and will go on sale from 12 August 2016.
