Now no matter where you go, you will see almost everyone playing Pokémon Go, be it night or day, noon or dawn, the game has taken over everyone!
It is real, folks! The Pokémon Go fever is getting more and more serious with loads of people getting addicted to it in Malaysia.
Just stay calm and don’t freak out when you see a large group of people hanging out at night looking at their phones and swiping their fingers – it might seem like they are taking a photo of an invisible ghost, but there is really nothing in front of them!
Some of the hotspots where you will see all these bunch of people playing Pokémon Go are at KLCC, Sunway Pyramid, Pavilion KL, The Curve, One Utama – so let’s just say that we can expect a lot of people in malls for the next few weeks!

That’s not all, plenty of companies, corporations, restaurants and shop brands are also taking advantage of this frenzy by offering special promotions to Pokémon Go trainers!
For example, Sunway Pyramid and Pavilion KL have activated hundreds of Lure Modules at several Pokéstops in their malls, which also offer special promotions.
If you don’t know, Lure Modules is a feature which can be placed at a Pokéstop which will then attract tons of Pokémon to the spot.

Not only that, there are also several Pokémon Go-related activities planned which aims to bring Pokémon trainers in Malaysia together.
One example is the upcoming PokéWalk on 20 August, which is like a massive walkathon where everyone will be walking from KLCC to Bukit Bintang and then to Times Square while hunting for Pokémon, together! To date, the event has attracted the interest of over 7,000 people!
There will also be a Pokémon Go Launch Party at KDU Damansara Jaya Campus on the 13 and 14 August with tons of Pokémon related games and attractions to look forward to.
Come and join in all the craze in Malaysia, ‘cos who knows you might be able to catch some really rare Pokémons like Articuno, Zapdos or Moltres, and even if you don’t catch them, you might find some new friends along the way!
