After collaborating with Usher and making headlines, multi award-winning Malaysian singer Yuna continues to make waves in America.
This time around, she is about to gain more international attention like never before as her song, “All I Do” has been chosen as the soundtrack for the pilot episode of the ever so popular American medical drama television series, “Grey’s Anatomy” season 13.
The song was aired on 22 September 2016 on the ABC channel in the United States.
“All I Do” is the last track of her third international album, “Chapters”, and was played during the scene when the series’ main character, Dr. Meredith Grey, reveals the person who actually hit Andrew DeLuca, the love-interest of Meredith's half-sister Maggie Pierce.
The ballad is the product of Yuna and Grammy Award-winning composer and producer, David Foster.
In 2012, Yuna’s cover of Nirvana’s “Come as You Are” was featured in the tenth episode and mid-season finale of the sixth season of “Private Practice”, a spin-off of “Grey's Anatomy”.
“Grey's Anatomy” is one of the highest-rated dramas that often popularises underrated songs.
Some of the musical artistes who got their start after their songs were featured in the series include The Fray and Snow Patrol.
Also, Adele’s “Chasing Pavement” went off the charts after it was played in the series a few years back.
