Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve definitely heard of this viral song “I have a pen, I have an apple…” – we’ll let you finish the rest.

So, guess what? The man behind the viral hit “PPAP” (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen) is coming to Singapore this month for the Anime Festival Asia (AFA)!

The anime event takes place from 25 to 27 November 2016, and Japanese comedian Daimaou Kosaka, or better known as Pikotaro, will be arriving on the 27th – and there’s a high chance that he might perform the song on the spot so make sure you memorise the lyrics! (LOL)

The 45-second song has entered the Guinness World Records as the shortest song to break into the Billboard Hot 100 – thanks to Justin Bieber, who is actually the one that caused the song to go viral globally after sharing it on his social media.

Since then, “PPAP” has garnered more than 85 million views on YouTube.

Anime Festival Asia will take place at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Tickets for the event start from SDG13 and can be purchased via animefestival.asia.
