The concert which will be held in Singapore National Indoor Stadium will see Sting joining his 3-piece band including his long time guitarist Dominic Miller, together with Josh Freese on drums, as well as Rufus Miller on guitar.

This was made official after joint concert organisers, Live Nation Lushington SG made the announcement on their official Facebook page.

“We are pleased to announce that English singer-songwriter STING will return to Singapore next year with his 57TH & 9TH TOUR,” read the post.

Even though the veteran rock star has made several appearances in Singapore over the years, this will be the very first time he is bringing along his son Joe Sumner, who’s billed as a music guest for the show.

The tour titled “59th& 7th” is set to be a part of his latest album promotion which goes by the same name.

Sting together with his band The Police has given some of the greatest rock music hits of all-time with songs like “I Can’t Stop Thinking about You”, “Message in a Bottle” and “Englishman in New York”, which are still getting airtime in today’s broadcast stations.

The ticket price for the concert would range from USD108 to USD288, and it will go on sale on 15 December from 10am onwards via sportshubtix.sg.

But members of the official Sting.com fan club can purchase the tickets in advance from 9 December, 10am to 10 December, 11.59pm.

For further details, you can head on to Live Nation LushingtonSG’s Facebook.
