Tokyo’s popular J-rock band Sekai no Owari (literally means End of the World) will debut their first concert in Singapore at The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel on 5 March 2017.

Made up of childhood friends Nakajin (group leader, lead guitar), Fukase (lead vocals), Saori (pianist), and the masked clown DJ Love (sonic palette), the band debuted in 2005 but recently began to gain worldwide attention after performing the theme songs for the two live-action “Attack on Titan” movies.

Considered as one of the biggest music acts in Japan, Sekai no Owari has performed two sold out shows at Japan’s largest venue, Nissan Stadium, and is the first Japanese act to perform for MTV World Stage Malaysia 2015.

The band is known for their originality and creativity as their live performances and concerts are being considered as one of the highest quality produced musical events worldwide, often being compared to music festivals like Tomorrowland and Ultra Music festival.

The four-piece band plans to enter the English market as they will soon debut their first fully English language album which will be released sometime this year.

The album will feature the band’s collaboration with famous international artistes like Nicky Romero, Clean Bandit and Owl City.

Tickets for Sekai no Owari’s concert in Singapore will be sold at SGD118 while VIP packages are available at SGD168 through apactix.com from 20 January 2017, at 10am.
