Penang’s famous Nasi Kandar Pelita will soon open three new outlets in Saudi Arabia according to the restaurant’s director Datuk K.K. Sihabutheen.
The director has confirmed that the three locations would be in Mecca, Medina and Jeddah, though the location for the Jeddah outlet is yet to be confirmed.
“We will start with the Medina outlet, hopefully in April, and the rest will follow shortly after. We will retain the mamak-style menu from Malaysia and the outlets will be managed by our Saudi partners,” Sihabutheen was quoted by The Star.
