So long January, and hello February!

What are some of the events, activities and festivals taking place in February? Well, read the whole article to find out!

1.Journey in Singapore and Malaysia (10 & 11 February 2017) 

Known for their smash hit “Don’t Stop Believin’”, 80s hit makers Journey is set to bring the 80s nostalgia to Singapore and Malaysia with their forceful rock anthems “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)”, “Any Way You Want It” along with arm-swaying favourites like “Open Arms”.

2.Yellow Card in Philippines and Singapore (10 & 12 February 2017) 

After two decades of their musical career, Yellowcard is ready to bid their fans goodbye with their Final World Tour in support for their self-titled last album.

Venue: SM Skydome North Edsa (Philippines), The Coliseum (Singapore)

3.Laugh Die You 4 (11 February 2017) 

Get ready to burst out in laughter as the annual comedy night “Laugh Die You” returns with some of the most talented and funniest comedians from around the region including Mark Lee, Jonathan Atherton, and Kuah Jen Han.

Venue: Genting International Showroom, Malaysia

4.PENTAGON in Singapore (11 February 2017) 

After their recent debut last year, 10-member South Korean boy group PENTAGON is set to debut their first showcase in the country.

Venue: Kallang Theatre, Singapore

5.Goo Goo Dolls in Bangkok (13 February 2017) 

Known for their 90s hits “Iris”, Goo Goo Dolls is heading to Bangkok, Thailand for the first time to promote their eleventh studio album, “Boxes”.

Venue: BCC Hall, Thailand

6.Cosfest SEA (17 – 20 February 2017) 

The first of its kind Cosfest SEA which is basically a cosplay event on sea will set sail from Singapore on the 17 February 2017 to Penang and then comes back to Singapore on the 20 February 2017.

Venue: Mariner of the Seas, Singapore

7.A-Mei in Malaysia (18 February 2017) 

Mandapop diva A-Mei returns with her brand new tour “aMEI | AMIT Utopia 2.0 Carnival 2017”, a follow-up to her previously successful tour “aMEI | AMIT Utopia World Tour”.

Venue: Arena of Stars, Malaysia

8.Moffatts in Southeast Asia (18, 19, 20, 24 & 25 February 2017) 

Asian fans of 90s hits will want to catch popular Canadian pop rock band, The Moffatts, who were one of the biggest selling act in Southeast Asia back in the late 90s!

Venue: Smart Araneta Coliseum (Philippines), Hard Rock Cafe Jakarta (Indonesia), Hard Rock Café Bali (Indonesia), Hard Rock Café Singapore (Singapore)

9.Joe Satriani in Singapore (21 February 2017) 

The world’s most commercially successful solo guitar performer, Joe Satriani will be performing live in Singapore as part of the ‘Surf to Shockwave’ tour

Venue: Kallang Theatre, Singapore

10.Eddie Izzard in Malaysia (21 February 2017) 

Eddie Izzard who is known for his comedic style which takes the form of rambling, whimsical monologue, and self-referential pantomime will be bringing his Force Majeure World Tour to Malaysia

Venue: HGH Convention Centre, Malaysia

11.Before You Exit in Southeast Asia (24, 26 & 28 February 2017) 

Fresh after releasing their brand new Extended Play (EP) titled “All the Lights” back in April, Florida trio Before You Exit will be making their second appearance in Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines

Venue: KIA Theatre (Philippines), Bentley Music Auditorium (Malaysia), and The Ground Theater (Singapore)

12.Guns N’ Roses in Singapore and Bangkok (21 February 2017)  

One of the best rock bands in the century, Guns N’ Roses will be marking their first show in Singapore and is set to close the tour in Bangkok.

Venue: Changi Exhibition Centre (Singapore), SCG Stadium (Thailand)
