"Goblin" actor Lee Dong-wook to embark on Asian tour

The lovable grim reaper from “Goblin” – one of the highest rated South Korean dramas – will be embarking on an Asian tour this month, and Southeast Asian countries like Indonesia, Thailand, and the recently announced Singapore will be included in the tour!

“Besides Korea, Lee Dong-wook will visit cities in Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand and Japan for the ‘For My Dear’ tour. More cities might be added in the future as well,” said the actor’s agency King Kong by Starship in a statement.


The 35-year-old actor will kick off his tour in Seoul on 12 March, before heading to Taiwan and Singapore in April, and to Indonesia, Hong Kong and Thailand in May, and Japan in June.


“Goblin” also known as “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God” is the second highest rated drama in Korean cable television history, behind tvN’s “Reply 1988”, the third instalment of “Reply” series.

The series also stars Gong Yoo, Kim Go-eun, Yoo In-na, and Yook Sung-jae.


Besides “Goblin”, Lee Dong-wook is also known for his leading roles in the television dramas like “My Girl”, “Scent of a Woman”, and “Hotel King”.

Lee Dong-wook will be arriving in Singapore on 15 April 2017 at MasterCard Theatres, Marina Bay Sands, and then he will heading to Indonesia on 20 May at Kasablanka Hall Jakarta.

The dates and venue for Thailand leg is yet to be confirmed.
