One of the biggest indie pop acts around, The xx will be making their third appearance in Singapore this July in a concert organized by Secret Sounds Asia.

Formed in London over a decade ago, The xx released their first album, “xx”, in 2009 and won the Mercury Prize in 2010.  Their second album, “Coesxist”, shot to the top of UK charts when it was released in 2012, as did their third and most recent album, “I See You”, which was released earlier this month.

The trio – consisting of Romy Madley Croft on vocals and guitar, bassist Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith, DJ and remixer – have produced music critics describe as "dream pop" or "indie electronic".

The band first performed in The Lion City in 2010 alongside Florence + The Machine at the Esplanade Theatre. Their second performance in the country, back in 2013, had them selling out two nights at the Star Performing Arts Centre.

For their third concert in Singapore, The xx will be performing at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 25 July 2017 with special guest, cutting-edge electronic and R&B musician, Sampha.

Sampha, known for his sweet vocals, last appeared in Singapore back in 2012 as the touring vocalist for SBTRKT. He's also worked with a variety of musical artists, including Drake, Kanye West and Solange. His debut album, "Process", became a Top 10 hit in Britain.

The concert ticket prices range from SG $98 to SG $148 and are available online at Sports Hub Tix, the Singapore Indoor Stadium box office and all SingPost outlets.

Presale tickets are available from 3 April until 6 April. Join The xx mailing list to receive the presale password. General sale tickets come out on 7 April.
