Big Bang’s leader G-Dragon has added more Asian cities to his large-scale second world tour, “G-Dragon 2017 World Tour: Act III, M.O.T.T.E”.
The new Southeast Asian countries announced are Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, joining Singapore and Thailand which were previously announced back in April.
The world tour title which stands for “Moment of Truth The End” is said to be the largest-scale Korean tour in the United States and also the largest tour ever conducted by a Korean solo artiste.
“This concert will feature a trilogy telling the story of 30-year old G-Dragon' life. Illustrating the artiste's honest moments, depicting his fancy and successful lifestyle as well as his struggles in solitude and torment,” YG Entertainment said in a statement obtained by All Kpop.
The 28-year-old K-pop icon kicked off the tour in Seoul on 10 June, followed by Macau.
His next stop will be in Singapore at Singapore Indoor Stadium on 24 and 25 June, before heading to Bangkok’s Impact Arena on 7 and 8 July.
After touring venues in North America, Australia, and Asian cities like Fukuoka, Osaka and Hong Kong, G-Dragon will continue his Southeast Asian tour with Philippines’ Smart Araneta Coliseum, Indonesia’s Ice Hall and Malaysia’s Stadium Merdeka on 1, 3 and 16 September, respectively.
Tickets for Singapore and Bangkok stops can be purchased via sportshub.com.sg and thaiticketmajor.com, while ticketing details for the remaining Southeast Asian countries are yet to be announced.
