Famous Korean restaurant chain Bulgogi Brothers has decided to cease its operation in Malaysia for good.

The Korean barbecue restaurant, known for its bulgogi (Korean style marinated barbecued beef) announced its closure on Facebook which shocked many netizens.

“All good things must come to an end. We would like to thank all our customers throughout the years for your unwavering support. It’s been an absolute pleasure to serve all of you.”

The restaurant did not disclose the reason for its termination, or when it would be closing down, but its announcement comes two days after Tim Ho Wan, Hong Kong’s popular dim sum restaurant also closed its doors here.

While we’re at it, two months ago, Korean bakery chain, Tous Les Jours too shut down its operations in Malaysia.

Bulgogi Brothers was established in 2006 and it has more than 40 outlets, including the ones in Philippines and Canada.

The restaurant opened its first Malaysian chain in 2012 in Paradigm Mall, followed by three other branches at eCurve, Mid Valley Megamall and Pavillion.
