This will probably be the only airline safety video you want to watch, because admit it, when were you ever paying attention when the pre-flight safety demonstration was shown?
So, to tackle this common issue that’s been taking place on flights everywhere, British Airways have decided to do something different with its safety video – by featuring a line-up of famous British stars from the stage and screen.
In collaboration with British charity Comic Relief, the airline has created a new safety video that is filled with some of Britain's biggest celebrities, including Chiwetel Ejiofor, Gordon Ramsay, Gillian Anderson, Sir Ian McKellen, and Rowan Atkinson, just to name a few.
In the video, the stars are pretending to audition for a role while at the same time demonstrating the safety features and procedures on the aircraft.
British comedian Asim Chaudhry, known by his stand-up name Chabuddy G, is also featured in the six-minute long video, playing the part of a casting director.
Some of the highlights from the video include Asim telling Chiwetel that this safety video could be his “big break”, Gordon Ramsay’s censored cursing, Asim gawking over Thandie, and of course, they saved the best for last with Rowan Atkinson bringing back his decades’ old Mr Bean role.
The video reminds us of the Air New Zealand“The Lord of the Rings” themed safety video which had gotten everyone’s attention when it was first released. Do you remember it?
