Elfira Loy and Etude House collaborate for new makeup collection

It was a sweet treat for Etude House customers who also happen to be fans of Elfira Loy, as the Malaysian actress recently made an appearance at the country’s flagship store to introduce new colors in its Double Lasting Foundation range.

“I was very surprised when I received this offer to collaborate,” the 23-year-old said at the event as she talked about how the collaboration between them come about. “I have just come back from Seoul and I just bought tons of Etude’s stuff from there!”

Elfira appeared at the event wearing the Double Lasting Foundation in Honey Almond, which, she later explained, she can use as a base for two different styles of makeup.

The first is the Contour Beam look, Etude House’s signature look that has been newly-improved to suit the young actress’ face, and the other is a look dubbed Empower, which was created especially for the actress by local celebrity makeup artist Tiar Zainal.

Fans browsing the “Find Your Look” section would be quick to notice Elfira’s images displayed among the Korean models, sporting both the aforementioned looks.

When asked if the looks were more suitable for day or night events, the actress replied that both are suitable for use anytime of the day.

After explaining the 7 new colors from the foundation range, which were introduced to suit Malaysian K-beauty fans with tanner skin, the actress held a Q&A session where she then presented the fans who guessed correctly with special Etude House goodie bags.

Not only that, fans also had the chance to snap some memorable photos with the petite actress.

While Elfira didn’t demonstrate on herself how to do her Contour Beam look, makeup artist Dave Kim, flown especially from Seoul for the event, did do the makeup demonstration with a model.
