The Cranberries to release final album post lead singer’s passing

8 Mar – Irish rock band, The Cranberries, will be releasing their latest and final album as well as a 25th anniversary reissue of their debut album, “Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?” in memories of the late Dolores O’ Riordan.

The band’s lead vocalist died on January 15, 2018 at the age of 46-years-old. Her body was found in a London hotel room while she was in the city for a recording session.

With this month marking the 25th anniversary of their debut album, “Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?” the band announced the plans to release a reissue later this year, followed by their latest and final untitled album, which is set to be released early next year.

Both projects were already in the making since last summer and was initially planned to be released this month, until the Irish lead singer passed on.

“After much consideration we have decided to finish what we started. We thought about it and decided that as this is something that we started as a band, with Dolores, we should push ahead and finish it” the band stated on their official website.
