“Upin & Ipin” is now streaming on Netflix UK and Australia

Beloved local animated series, "Upin & Ipin" is making another history after it was revealed that the show is being streamed on Netflix UK and Australia since 7 April.

The news was shared by its studio, Les Copaque Production Sdn Bhd, with its International Marketing Manager Karya Budi Mohd Aris stating, "We are very proud that Netflix UK and Australia wanted to air our work on their platforms. This indirectly proves the quality of our content and an indication that our work meets international standards."

"It also proves that the story in "Upin & Ipin" can be accepted everywhere. Even though it is made in Malaysia, it can be accepted around the world," he added.

Malaysia’s favourite TV twins are going places!

However, Budi is unsure whether "Upin & Ipin" is the first and only Malaysian animated work chosen by the streaming platform in both countries. 

On the other hand, the 14th season of the long-running show is currently airing on Astro Prima, with Budi stating that they are currently producing the 15th season.
