Malaysian darling Yuna is not only an accomplished singer but is also one of the most prominent fashion icons and hijabistas in Malaysia.
She recently graced the prestigious runway of New York Fashion Week (NYFW) as a special guest, wearing Buffalo, New York designer Mara Hoffman’s Ready-to-Wear Fall 2017 creation.

Sporting an orange ensemble with a matching turban, this is the first time that the Los-Angeles based Malaysian singer has walked the stage of New York Fashion Week.
“I never thought in a million years that I would walk for a show at the NYFW. I was nervous but Mara Hoffman was so cool and very supportive. Her collection is so beautiful and inspiring, so unique just like her,” the 30-year-old singer posted on her Instagram account.
“Congratulations Mara, thank you so much for having me! It was the best first walk ever!,” she continued.
Other than walking the runway, Yuna also helped one of the models style her iconic turban look.
New York Fashion Week 2017 had taken place from 9 to 16 February 2017.
