As the world mourns the death of another legend this year, we always look back at the amazing work that they have left us with to remember them by.

With the passing of boxing legend Muhammad Ali, we don't exactly have his music or movies (well, minus the biopic "Ali" starring Will Smith) to remember him by, but what the sports icon was greatly known for was his vast yet in-depth outlook on life and his uplifting words became the very quotes many live by for success.

We all know how Ali suffered various obstacles in his youth to eventually become the three-time heavyweight world champion, so if anyone knew what he was talking about, then its definitely the legend himself, Ali, who had a somehow confident way of looking at himself on a pedestal.

May his legacy and inspiring words live on forever.

Yuna has released yet another music video for a song straight from her latest album, “Chapters”.

Titled “Lanes”, the song is about heartbreak and seems to reflect Yuna’s past relationship.

“It's a story about what heartbreak looks like. It's revealed in the end what it was that broke my heart. It's also a reflection of my past relationship,” Yuna told Elle US.

Directed by Brian Oh, the music video was shot in a unique reverse style where Yuna shows you how a broken relationship looks like and why it happens.

“Brian Oh and I had to piece every moment in a reverse timeline which was very challenging. It's easy to tell a story in normal timeline, but in reverse, you have to make sure visually it looks beautiful and Brian captured all the movements, and emotions in reverse beautifully,” Yuna added.

The video received nothing but high praises from the internet due to the simplicity of it and the message it conveyed.

This is the third music video from the new album, released after “Places to Go” and “Crush”.

Yuna’s past relationships include Malaysian personality, Qushairi Razali which ended in early 2012 and more recently, Julian Schratter an American photographer and model who also appeared in her “I Wanna Go” music video. The pair broke up in late 2014.

Redfoo party rocked the Red Party in Malaysia!

Redfoo, the man with a funky afro, oversized glasses and smooth shuffling moves had recently dropped by Malaysia for the annual Red Party at PLAY Club along with his loyal and talented Party Rock Crew.

Real name Stefan Kendal Gordy, Redfoo is best known as one half of the former musical duo LMFAO along with his nephew Sky Blu where they released a slew of number one hits including “Party Rock Anthem”, “Sexy & I Know It” and “Sorry for Party Rocking”.

In mid-March, Redfoo released his debut solo album, “Party Rock Mansion” which already has several chart-topping singles like “New Thang”, “Juicy Wiggle” and “Lights Out”.

“The new album, “Party Rock Mansion” is a really diverse album. It has a lot of party tunes, it has a ballet, and there are songs I wrote when I was together with a girl and songs I wrote when I was single – it has a lot of different flavours and it's a real personal album, and it took me two years to make it,” Redfoo told the TheHive.Asia.

Despite being labelled as an EDM and hip hop artiste, Redfoo’s first solo album is diversified with various musical genres including ballet, blues, rock ‘n roll and more.

“When I started making music, I never even knew that there were genres. To me, it's just music and the stuff that I listened to. I grew up listening to a lot of Michael Jackson – “Thriller” is one of my favourite albums, I also listened to jazz, R&B, hip hop and of course, motown,” said the 40-year-old singer.

Redfoo together with Roen Cian (Left), Director of The Roof and Dax Lee (Right), CEO of The Roof.
“I was always into hip hop which always had a slower tempo, and then I got into EDM. Though it was called EDM, to me it was only faster music, and the tempo was like 128 BPM. Then I learned that with that tempo you can create any kind of music like jazz and disco,” he continued.

“So when I make a song, I kind of just groove and make the melody, and then the melody kind of finds itself into some kind of a genre.”

“For example, if you really listen closely to “Party Rock Anthem's” music, it is actually jazz because it has swing music in it, but everyone calls it EDM because of the heavy beats that come along with it,” Redfoo explained during the press conference of the Red Party which took place a day before the main event.

Putting on a great show last Thursday, 2 June 2016, the club was packed with red-clad partygoers and the event was kicked off by local talents MC Noixe accompanied by DJ Kino Takamura who was in charge of spinning tunes.

The local DJs kept the audience all hyped up by playing several mainstream hits and then the DJs from the Party Rock Crew came on stage to play a few songs before the main attraction himself graced the crowd.

Around 1.30am in the morning, Redfoo finally kicked off the event with “Keep Shining”, the song which serves as a follow up to LMFAO's “Party Rock Anthem”.

Throughout the night, Redfoo continued to amp up the atmosphere with some of his top hits including “New Thang”, “Juicy Wiggle” and also several of LMFAO’s songs like “Sexy & I Know It” and “Party Rock Anthem”!

After playing for almost 2 hours, Redfoo and his Party Rock Crew rocked the Red Party until almost 3am and called it a night!

Located at Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad 3, the Ramadhan bazaar in TTDI starts slightly earlier than the others, around 3pm onwards, making it easier for people to find parking and avoid traffic. It is also aimed to attract the non-Muslims for their late lunch hour.

Famous for: Kuih Tepung Pelita, Nasi Tomato with Ayam Masak Merah, and Popiah.

2.Kampung Baru
There are plenty of deep-fried food stuff here, but the bazaar is most known for the free and delicious Bubur Lambuk which you can get from the nearby mosque.

3.Shah Alam Stadium
The bazaar is the biggest in Selangor, located just opposite Stadium Malawati. Due to its huge space, the bazaar has a lot of parking slots and more than 200 food stalls spanning across six rows.

Famous for: Papa John Kambing, Ayam Golek, Nasi Khabsa, Kebab Cucuk and Kambing Golek.

6.Bangsar
The bazaar is located right in front of the Bangsar mosque and food court, and it is smaller compared to the other bazaars, making it a bit lacking in terms of variety, but still, there are several famous food stalls which still attracts patrons to this place, such as the Raja Murtabak, and some of the Kelantanese dishes.

Famous for: Raja Murtabak, Ikan Bakar Portugis, Rojak, Nasi Dagang, Nasi Kerabu, Ayam Percik, and Roti Jala.

7.Jalan TAR
Located right in the middle of Kuala Lumpur, the Ramadhan bazaar is most popular for its rather cheap food and drinks. Also, this bazaar doesn’t just sell food, it also sells all sorts of clothing, accessories, toys and more.

Famous for: Cendol and Air Mata Kucing which priced at only RM2!

8.Wangsa Maju
You can easily find this bazaar in front of the Wangsa Maju LRT station, and it is home to the famous Murtabak Maggi. However, the bazaar is a bit of a walk, so it will be a bit tiring for fasting Muslims to walk all the way to the end and back.

The world’s top female tennis player, Maria Sharapova has been suspended for two years by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) following her use of the drug meldonium at the Australian Open.

In early March, the 29-year-old announced at a press conference in Los Angeles that she had failed a doping test in late January.

Sharapova claimed that she was not aware that the drug had been banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency in early January, adding that she has been taking it since 2006 for health issues.

The five-time Grand Slam champion took to Facebook and said that she will appeal the suspension to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

“While the tribunal concluded correctly that I did not intentionally violate the anti-doping rules, I cannot accept an unfairly harsh two-year suspension,” Sharapova said in a statement.

“The tribunal, whose members were selected by the ITF, agreed that I did not do anything intentionally wrong, yet they seek to keep me from playing tennis for two years. I will immediately appeal the suspension portion of this ruling to CAS, the Court of Arbitration for Sport,” she added.

The decided ban on Sharapova not only causes her to lose all of her ranking points and prize money she earned in Melbourne, but may also potentially end her career as the world’s highest-paid female athlete.
